Milling and Shredding

JRS operates different milling technologies in order to process a variety of different raw materials. Milling at JRS can be done conventionally or cryogenic for temperature sensitive products or products with low melting points.
The jetmill can produce micronized powders in the range of a few microns. The unit is suitable for pharmaceutical excipients, cosmetics and food ingredients.

Milling of Pharma Excipients and Food Ingredients
Coarse granules, powders and flakes are milled into finer and defined particle sizes. Pharma excipients with low dosage are powderized in order to guarantee sufficient distribution.
In some applications, a very specific particle size distribution is demanded. JRS guarantees food & pharma excipients quality standards.
Micronization of Various Raw Materials
In some applications micronized powders with particle sizes below 50μm are necessary. Therefore JRS offers jetmill capacities.
