Alginate is a very effective thickener and film former and offers moisturizing properties. JRS uses brown algae that are sustainably harvested from the coast of northern France. Our Alginate is available in different grades for various applications as a natural thickener and stabilizer. It is the ideal additive for peel-off and rinse-off masks!
Our MCG is available in different combinations to meet all requirements with only one unique product.
All of these rheology modifiers are designed for specific functions.
The various combinations available always contain MCC with cellulose gum or xanthan gum or both raw materials. They can be used in various applications where a silky texture and soft skin feel are required.
As an optimization to pure sticky xanthan gum, we developed a composition of Xanthan gum and Microcrystalline Cellulose, which combines emulsifying properties with a gentle skin feeling in one harmonized product.
A third compound – Microcrystalline Cellulose and Cellulose Gum – is especially made for wet-wipe solutions and sun sprays. Its excellent thixotropic properties ensure a homogeneous spray mist and better adherence to the skin after application. In wet wipes, its excellent water-retaining capacity ensures constant humidity.
HPMC is a natural rheology modifier, which is perfect for disinfectant gels and foams. The rheology additive creates a clear and high-viscosity gel, is stable in alcohol and can be used in emulsions, toothpastes, shampoos, soaps, creams and lotions.
Our HPMC is also used in the food industry and meets food regulations, underlining its suitability for use in personal care products.
